DesignThinking

Engaging students in dynamic problem solving. Using critical thinking to work through solutions by creating a physical representation of that. Students learn to embrace their own process. Project Zero practices are also tools used for learning.

DesignDoing

Collaborating with artists and traditional artisans to learn about their craft and support a sustainable future. Exchanging methods and experiences while staying true to their vision. Also, photography series with the thought of "How We Live".

My trades are Design Thinking and Industrial Design. Working professionally for 18+ years, I have applied my skilled trades in various fields such as Public Environments (Retail, Hospitality, Museum), Strategy, Branding, Product Development, Packaging, Graphic Design, as well as Teaching in Arts and Design Education. My work ranges from conceptual works to thoughtfully designed and executed products for clients' specific goals and needs.

While I very much enjoy creating experiences and objects, I have also found profound applications for my Design Thinking. I've used the awareness and problem solving nature of a designer to build and teach curriculum in the Visual Arts, Design Technologies and unique workshops for all age groups. I have also identified business initiatives that can use design thinking to strengthen and further their goals. These goals are most often routed in sustainability of social, economical, ecological and style considerations.

I'm continuously looking for companies, educational settings, and social organizations to collaborate with. Together we can think critically about where things are going and the paths we wish to lay.
